Thanks to an Intelligent All-Wheel Drive system and an ultra-efficient 2.7L EcoBoost engine with V6 horsepower, the all-new Edge is one of the most capable cars on- and off- the road today. Intelligent AWD actually makes use of multiple sensors that help monitor and evenly distribute torque to all four wheels: eliminating wheel slip before it can even start.
The Edge also boasts many incredibly capable features, too, like a rear Hands-Free Liftgate for opening the trunk, and a rear view camera with washer that comes standard on all Edges. The Edge offers available Bi-LED headlamps and fog lamps for the clearest line of sight in any type of weather, day or night. And, on top of this, the Edge actually offers trailering ability: capable of towing up to 3,500 pounds. This even includes sway control to automatically decide if the trailer is swaying, and then apply brakes to reduce any swaying motion.
