The iconic Ford Mustang sports car returns for its brand-new seventh generation with more performance than ever before. A revised 2.3L turbocharged EcoBoost engine generates 315 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque, while rear-wheel drive and 10-speed automatic transmission are both standard. According to EPA estimates, it can get around 22 MPG in the city and 33 MPG on the highway.

The Mustang GT trim contains a 5.0L V8 engine that zips along smoothly on the strength of 480 horsepower and 415 pound-feet of torque.  The six-speed manual transmission comes with rev matching, while an optional active valve performance exhaust boosts performance by a small amount. According to EPA estimates, the fuel economy is 15 MPG in the city and 24 MPG on the highway.

The ultimate Dark Horse trim boosts performance up to 500 horsepower and 410 pound-feet of torque for the best possible ride. The standard Gen-3 MagneRide Damping System makes the active suspension still feel smooth and responsive in any condition. The fuel economy of the Dark Horse is 14 MPG in the city and 22 MPG on the highway.
